여러 국가의 젊은 작가들이 기록한 ‘움직임’의 모임입니다.

일러스트레이션을 기본으로 다양한 매체로 확장하는 국내외 신진 작가들이

애니메이션이라는 형식을 시도하고 실험한 결과를 전시합니다.

기술의 발전은 애니메이션을 번창 시켰지만 

동시에 개인이 시도하기에 다소 멀게 느껴지게도 했습니다.

이 전시에서는 여전히 움직임을 찾고 구현하고자 하는 작가의 노력들을 소개하며

최초에 애니메이션을 만들어 냈던 솔직한 태도를 보이고자 합니다. 

 

 

Movement is what connects the pieces presented in this show.

By collaboration of new-young artists from various countries, 

We are trying to reintroduce pure and experimental expression of movement caught by artists’ eyes.

Sleek and high-tech animation is primary, but we need a studio system with assets.

For a young artist who desires to create movement, sometimes it gives fear to challenge the form.

But that’s not how it all began. 

Animation started with an analog technique such as rotoscoping, 

and going back to the basics,

It gave freedom to the artists to play around with their movements.

 

SoIntuitive and Honest.

 

Even though 2020 was a hazard, we still there, moving, as who we are, doing art.

Separation seems unavoidable for now.

But as in this show, we will be connected soon again.
